A New School Built Upon Solid Experience & Expertise
Eagle House School (Sutton), opened its doors in February 2009. It expanded in September 2010 to increase the breadth of provision to meet the needs of young people with an autistic spectrum disorder, Asperger's syndrome and social and communication difficulties.
Eagle House School (Sutton), caters for young people aged 11 to 19 year olds.
What distinguishes us from many other schools is our ability to develop our pupils' global needs - not just their education. This is possible due to the support and input teaching staff receive from our dedicated Multidisciplinary Team, which includes speech and language therapy, psychology, occupational therapy and music therapy. By 'streaming' our pupils within the school we can meet the needs of those who may be capable of achieving academic qualifications at GCSE or similar levels through to those who may be working at an early stage of learning.
Our team works within the classroom to provide a hands on and seemless transfer of newly acquired skills. Our whole team approach ensures that our pupils receive a consistent and coordinated education. This makes us a unique multi-professional resource and our aim is to unlock the full potential of each young person by creating a school day that is motivating and purposeful.
